Description

The museum's galleries arrange a wide-ranging material record, gathering modern art, impressionism, artifacts, furniture, and clothing from across the world under distinct, curving architecture. Visits easily stretch past the indoor rooms into the surrounding grounds, connecting outdoor installations to a walk through the tar pits. Alongside structured offerings like docent tours and special exhibitions, the campus sustains a relaxed open-air tempo with picnics by the lights, live performances, and on-site dining at Erewhon at LACMA.
