The Menil Collection
4.6 (4,432)museum
Renzo Piano's pavilions tuck an art campus into a quiet Houston neighborhood, bathing galleries in soft natural light.
Description

Assembled by founders John and Dominique de Menil, the collection unfolds across dedicated pavilions that include the Cy Twombly Gallery, the Menil Drawing Institute, Richmond Hall, and the Rothko Chapel. Renzo Piano’s main building appears intimately scaled on the outside but spacious inside, surrounded by pristinely maintained park grounds and an on-site cafe with indoor and outdoor seating.
