Rodin Museum
4.6 (1,990)museum
$7.00 – $15.00
An intimate indoor-outdoor museum pairing serene gardens with one of the largest Rodin collections outside Paris.
Description

Assembled by cinema magnate Jules Mastbaum in the 1920s, the museum holds more than 150 sculptures in a 1929 setting designed by French architects Paul Phillippe Cret and Jacques Gréber. Works extend from indoor galleries into grounds with tables and a fountain, while sketchbooks for drawing in the moment invite close study of Rodin’s intentionally unfinished figures. The compact scale makes it easy to take in the full collection in about an hour.
