Description

Transformed from a former railyard along the river's South Branch, the grounds integrate Chinese landscape design elements with active recreation spaces. The Leonard Louie Fieldhouse houses a zero-depth entry indoor pool, gymnasium, and green rooftop patio, while the surrounding acreage includes an athletic field, playground, and a public dock serving Chinatown water taxis. Seasonal programming brings dance and music performances out onto the lawn. While some corners show noticeable wear, the compact layout easily accommodates a quick post-meal stroll from neighborhood eateries.
