Millennium Park Bends the Skyline Around Cloud Gate
Trace the skyline across Cloud Gate, then trade the plaza for trees and open lawns.
🪞 A Different Reflection
Cloud Gate folds the Chicago skyline into a curved mirror, with towers and passersby reflected across its surface. Step back for the whole sweep, then move around the sculpture to watch the view change.
Millennium Park also brings garden paths, public art and the Great Lawn into one downtown wander. Let the trees set the pace between the larger landmarks, including Jay Pritzker Pavilion and Wrigley Square.
Plan your walk within the daily 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. opening window. An early start leaves the rest of the day open, while a later walk still fits inside that window. Pick a stretch of the day for the park itself, rather than treating it as a single photo stop.
