Description

Named after the famous naval commander, this clean, dog-friendly waterfront park is dotted with shade trees, benches, and historic cannons. The centerpiece is the Dover Patrol Monument, one of three matching obelisks erected to honor the Royal Navy's World War I patrol, with the other two located in Dover and Calais. It remains a relaxed spot to lay out a blanket or set up a lawn chair near the water.
