Brooklyn Waterfront Walk With Manhattan Skyline Views

Walk 85 acres of piers and gardens, pause on a bench for bridge views, and stay as late as 1 AM.

Take a stroll along the river.

🌉 Room Along the River

Brooklyn Bridge Park puts the Manhattan skyline across the water and plenty of room to wander on your side of the East River. At 2 Furman St, the waterfront opens into 85 acres of wide paths, piers and landscaped gardens along the shoreline. Trade a quick look across the river for a longer stretch on foot, with the wide layout leaving room to set your own walking pace.

The recreation piers bring an active side to the shoreline. Benches give you a place to pause between stretches of walking, while direct views take in both the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges. The Environmental Education Center adds another stop within the park, beyond the waterfront itself.

The park is open daily from 6 AM to 1 AM. Make sunset the focus for an evening outing, or start earlier for more time outside.
