Handmade Tajarin and 250 Wine Labels in SoHo
Piedmontese plates meet Barolo and Barbaresco at a cozy SoHo dining room.
🍝 Piedmont on the Plate
San Carlo builds its menu around classic Northern Italian recipes and seasonal ingredients, with Piedmontese classics leading the way. Start with handmade tajarin or agnolotti del plin, then look for Fassona beef, artisanal meats and cheeses, and the traditional Bagna Cauda sauce.
Executive Chef Davide Iacoboni leads the kitchen, while Beverage Director Mirko Mennuni brings more than 250 wine labels to the table. Barolo and Barbaresco anchor the Piemonte focus, giving a pasta dinner a natural partner. You will find the restaurant at 90 Thompson Street in SoHo, where a rustic yet modern dining room sets the scene.
It opens at noon every day, closing at half past ten PM Monday through Thursday and Sunday, while Friday and Saturday stay open until 11 PM. The regional focus runs from the handmade pasta to the wine program, making room for an unhurried dinner.
