Greenbelt Nature Center

Beyond the visitor center, a network of over 35 miles of trails winds through quiet forests and alongside local golf courses. Hikers can stitch together routes ranging from under an hour to several hours, passing landmarks like the Heyerdahl stone home foundation and the vernal ponds along the N trail. For those walking with toddlers, the Nature Center trail is short, easy, and well-marked. The paths are dog-friendly, and the center itself offers clean restrooms, helpful staff, and a water dish for pets.
