🌶️ Recipes Across Generations

At Lotus of Siam, the menu centers Northern Thai dishes, with recipes connected to grandmothers on both sides of the family. Chef Saipin and her husband Bill took over a modest Commercial Center space, carrying recipes across generations into the cooking. The style moves away from Bangkok flavors, with their sweet notes and tang, toward hearty herbs and spices, and curries made without coconut. Rich Panang curry is one named example. Whole fried fish is cut for sharing, while mango sticky rice gives the menu another named dish.

The restaurant also reaches beyond those dishes. It has an unexpected wine list with German selections, plus cocktails, seafood, and a full bar. Catering and private events offer additional uses for the Commercial Center space. At 620 E Flamingo Rd in Las Vegas, the restaurant is open daily from half past eleven AM to 10 PM.
