A Hushed Five-Star Spa Retreat Above Fifth Avenue
Slip into a serene spa, a skyline bar, and hushed suites tucked atop a landmark 1920s tower on Fifth Avenue.
🛁 Inside the spa floors
Aman took over the crowning floors of the 1920s Crown Building, a few steps from Central Park at 57th Street. The centerpiece is a three-story spa where a long lap pool stretches beneath dome-shaped lamps, ringed by daybeds and copper fireplaces. A wraparound terrace opens to the sky for a drink over the rooftops, and two restaurants, one Japanese and one Italian, sit a floor below. Design stays quiet and pared back, all warm wood and stone. A jazz club hides on a lower level for guests and members who book ahead.
