For many Kendall families, this address carries a memory. It used to be Dandy Bear, the indoor amusement center that a local parenting site called a beloved childhood memory. Today the space holds more than 9,000 square feet of interactive jumping space.

Off The Wall Gamezone is a small chain, with parks in Kendall, Davie and Coconut Creek in South Florida and one in Woodland Hills in California. That size shows in the feel of the place. It is less of a corporate trampoline gym and more of a neighborhood hangout, where the arcade, the bar and the jump courts all sit under one roof. One review on the park's own page comes from a teacher who brought a whole fourth-grade class to celebrate the last day of school, and that is the crowd you will see on a weekday: classes, camps and big family groups.

The core is wall-to-wall trampoline open jump. Around it are Trampoline Dodgeball, Trampoline Slam Dunk, a Trampoline Obstacle Course and a Trampoline Toddler Area for the smallest jumpers. There is a Joust beam where two players try to knock each other off, Rock Walls for bouldering, Sport Courts for basketball and soccer, and Pool Tables. The arcade is large, with video games, classics and redemption games that pay out tickets for prizes. Pool tables cost $2.50 a game and need closed-toe shoes, so parents should wear sneakers rather than sandals.

Our honest take: skip the cheapest arcade bundle unless your child is a committed gamer. The $23.95 Jump & Play package pairs one hour of jumping with a $15 game card, but the plain one-hour jump at $15.95 is better value if the trampolines are the point. For a full afternoon, the Jump More & Play More package at $39.95 adds all-day jumping and a $25 game card, which works out well for older kids.

Off The Wall is one of the few trampoline parks in Miami with a proper kitchen and a full bar. The menu leans Miami: six ham croquetas or six cheese tequeños with cilantro sauce for $10, corn ribs for $10, and a 12-inch build-your-own pizza for $14. Smash burgers and Philly cheesesteaks are $15. Kids' meals called Little Jumpers, such as two chicken tenders or a kids' hot dog with fries and a small drink, cost $7.95.

Weekend doors open at 10am on both Saturday and Sunday, and Sunday closes at 9pm. The first hour on a weekend morning is the calmest time to jump before birthday parties arrive. Weekday afternoons fill up once school lets out, and the weekday evenings feel more like a hangout, with the bar and arcade busy. If the main court is full of a party, the toddler area and the rock walls usually have room.

If the park is packed, the plan B nearby is Urban Air in Kendall, on SW 88th Street, which has its own trampoline courts and climbing attractions. Another option is to arrive for an all-day pass early and take a long lunch break at the bar, then jump again in the late afternoon. Because the all-day pass costs only $9 more than one hour, it rewards families who can stay.

Every jumper needs a signed liability waiver, and the park keeps it on file for five years, so regulars sign once. Anyone under 18 needs a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. Official Off The Wall grip socks are required on the trampolines and attraction surfaces, and socks from other parks are not accepted. There is no minimum age as long as a child can walk, but children aged three and under need an adult on the court.

For families who live nearby, memberships cost less than two visits. The Silver plan is $19.99 a month for 60 minutes of jumping every day, and the Gold plan is $27.99 a month for 120 minutes a day with two free buddy passes and 15% off parties, attractions, food and drinks. The Gold plan pays for itself after two all-day visits in a month, which is easy to reach during school breaks.

SW 84th Street sits in the heart of West Kendall, and the park has its own parking lot, so nearly everyone drives. The Florida Turnpike and SW 137th Avenue are close by. After a session, Kendall Indian Hammocks Park, a short drive east, has shaded trails and playgrounds where children can wind down in the open air, and Kendall Drive has plenty of cafeterias for a cafecito run.
