Edgewater's Lagree Fitness Studio With Ten Machines: Megalit
Megalit on NE 2nd Ave in Edgewater caps every Lagree class at 10 Megaformer M3S machines, with $33 drop-ins, free back-lot parking and classes in Spanish.
Megalit is the kind of Lagree room you find by word of mouth. It sits at 3223 NE 2nd Ave, on the stretch of Edgewater between Midtown Miami and the Design District, and you walk in through the back of the building, where the parking is free. Inside there are exactly 10 Megaformer M3S machines, so no class ever has more than 10 people, and the staff motto on the website is simple: it is not Pilates, it is Lagree.

Who runs the room
Owner Sean Perry teaches on the floor himself. His studio bio lists more than seven years as a Lagree instructor, a first-place finish in men's physique competition and a lifelong habit of competing, which explains why the classes feel more like coached training than a group fitness hour. The team page reads like a cast list: Christopher Push, billed as an instructor's instructor in the Southeast, Kiki Perez with more than eight years on the machine, and Alex Bell, who trained at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater before moving into fitness.
Henry Briceno is the detail that sets Megalit apart from most Miami studios. The Ecuadorian actor and model started training here as a client in 2021 and now teaches Lagree classes in Spanish. Studio manager Fab C holds both yoga and Lagree certifications and brings more than 12 years of teaching experience. Ask at the desk which teachers lead the Spanish-language sessions if you would rather be cued in Spanish.
Ten machines and a 50-minute shake
Classes are listed as 45 minutes of work plus five minutes of stretching. Each person gets a Megaformer M3S, the model the studio bought for the room, and you stay on it for the whole session. The FAQ promises constant position changes, micro-movements, muscle shakes and muscle failure, and admits you may hate your instructor halfway through and love them by the end.
Because the room is so small, instructors can see every carriage and adjust springs and stances on the spot. That makes Megalit a good place to learn the method from scratch, but it also means the popular slots go quickly. The studio recommends three to four sessions a week, with rest in between so muscles can recover from the fatigue the workout is built to reach.
Expect each class to look different from the last. The FAQ is clear that the sequence changes every time, so you will not settle into a routine you can coast through. Beginners are welcome, and the small room helps, because a coach is never more than a few steps away to lighten your springs or correct a lunge. If you have done Lagree elsewhere, mention it at check-in so the instructor can push the load a little harder.
What Megalit charges
The Lagree price list is published on the studio site. A single drop-in is $33, two classes cost $45 and three classes cost $75, all to be used within 30 days. Five classes are $115 within the same window, and a 10-class package is $210. A monthly unlimited is $249 on its own or $222 a month on a six-month recurring plan. Private sessions run $100 for one person or $150 for a duet.
Groups of five or more can email the studio for a private group rate, which is a popular move for birthdays and bachelorette weekends. Purchases are nonrefundable but transferable, so if your plans change, a friend can use the classes. Lagree and the separate boxing program run on different booking apps and price lists, so buy from the Lagree page.
House rules worth knowing
First-timers must arrive ten minutes early so an instructor can walk them through the machine and the method and have them sign a waiver. If you are late to your first class, you will not be allowed to take it. After that, 12 hours' notice is required for any change, and it applies even on your first booking. Unlimited members pay an extra $25 for each late cancellation or reschedule, and package holders lose the class.
Unlike many Lagree studios, Megalit does not insist on grip socks. Non-slip socks are nice to have, but bare feet are allowed. Bring a towel, a comfortable outfit and your own water bottle, since there is filtered water in the studio but staff would rather you skip paper cups. A card on file is required for booking.
Book through the schedule widget on the Lagree page or the Megalit Fitness app, which handle Lagree only. Classes and instructors can change without notice, so check the app the night before if you are set on a particular teacher. Private sessions are scheduled by email at getlit@megalitfitness.com and are held outside regular class hours, which suits anyone who wants a one-on-one introduction before joining a full room.
Boxing next door, same address
Megalit also runs a boxing program called XP at the same address, with its own schedule and app. Boxing Only is a 45-minute class of 10 rounds mixing combinations, footwork and bodyweight work, and Boxing/Strength is a 50-minute hybrid of heavy-bag rounds and dumbbell training. A boxing drop-in is $28 and an unlimited month is $175, so some regulars split the week between the bag and the Megaformer to give their legs a break.
Around NE 2nd Avenue
The studio is a short drive or a long walk from three of Miami's busiest neighborhoods. Midtown Miami's shops and restaurants are a few blocks south, the Design District's galleries and boutiques start a few blocks north around 39th Street, and the murals of Wynwood sit just to the southwest.
For something calmer after class, head east to the bay. Edgewater's high-rises line Biscayne Bay, and Margaret Pace Park, farther south along the water, has shaded benches, a dog park and wide views toward Miami Beach, ideal for a slow stretch while your legs stop shaking.
