LEKFIT Rebounder Fitness Studio on La Brea: $40 Drop-In
Lagree Fitness Studio in Downtown Burbank: Lab Lagree
Lab Lagree at 116 E Olive Ave in Burbank runs 45-minute Megaformer classes for 10 people, with a $39 two-class intro that comes with free grip socks.
Lab Lagree is a compact Megaformer studio at 116 E Olive Ave in downtown Burbank, and its signature format is shorter than most: every class runs 45 minutes, then closes with a two to three minute group stretch. Each session is capped at 10 people, so the room stays small enough that the trainer can fix your foot position on the carriage before your legs start shaking. The studio, which also runs a second room in La Crescenta, calls each class a LAB, and the schedule reads like one.

Four kinds of LAB on the schedule
The Full Body LAB is the signature class and the one to book first: 45 minutes on the Megaformer, working legs, core, arms and back with very little rest. A variant called Full Body LAB, No Obliques, Extra Core swaps the twisting side work for more front-body planks and crunches, a useful option for anyone whose lower back complains during oblique series.
Two focused classes round out the week. Abs and Arms LAB keeps the lower body out of it and spends 45 minutes on the arms and abs. Abs and Ass LAB runs on the Mega Pro and concentrates on the lower body and abs, which means long lunges, glute bridges on the carriage and the kind of side planks that make the last five minutes feel twice as long.
Why it is called Lagree, not Pilates
The studio's homepage makes the case in three words: shake, sweat, sculpt. The Megaformer is patented and uses variable spring tension, so the trainer can make the same move heavier or lighter by adjusting the springs. Quick transitions keep the heart rate up, and Lab Lagree says a class can push it to 145 or 150 beats per minute, past what most people expect from a low-impact workout.
The slow tempo is the other half. Holding each move for a long count works the slow-twitch muscle fibers, which is what produces the famous shaking. Nothing involves jumping or running, so it suits people who want a hard workout without pounding their knees, and the FAQ says modifications are available for every level, including pregnant clients who have their physician's clearance.
Trainers and the weekly rhythm
Jinny, the lead trainer, carries many of the early classes, and in a typical week she teaches the 6:15 am and 7:15 am slots plus most of the Saturday mornings. Noela is the studio's Master Trainer; her listed favorite move is the Express Lunge, and she plays pop and house music. Mary Bold, Adriana, Bailey, Kaitlyn Ansberry, Alaleh and Sean fill out the rest of the schedule.
Weekdays start at 6:15 am and run hourly through the morning, with a midday 12:15 pm class on several days, then pick up again in the late afternoon with classes from about 4:00 pm and, on most days, a 7:15 pm finale. Saturday and Sunday run five classes between 7:15 am and the 11:15 am slot. With only 10 spots per class, the 6:15 am and 7:15 am sessions are the ones to reserve as soon as the schedule opens.
What it costs on the Burbank buy page
Every figure in this section comes from the Burbank buy page on Lab Lagree's own booking site, lablagree.marianatek.com, where you buy a pack before reserving a Megaformer. First-timers have two choices. The Lab New Member Pack is $39 for two classes plus a free pair of Lab socks at your first visit, and it expires 14 days after purchase. The Intro 1 Week Limitless is $49 for seven class credits over a seven-day term, starting on the date of your first reservation. Either one is the cheapest way to learn the Megaformer stations in Burbank.
After that, a single class is $38 and expires in 30 days. A 5 class pack is $165, a 10 pack is $300 and a 20 pack is $500, with longer expiry windows on the larger packs. Auto-pay memberships carry a three-month minimum: $99 for four classes a month, $169 for eight, $219 for twelve, or $279 for Lab Limitless, which includes one guest pass each month. A no-commitment Limitless month is $300. Private 45-minute sessions are $120, or $180 for a duo session with a friend.
Rules that cost you a class
Lab Lagree is strict about time. First-timers must arrive at least 10 minutes early to avoid a penalty, and returning clients have until five minutes after the start; after that the visit is marked as a no-show. Grip socks are required with no exceptions, and turning up without them also counts as a no-show. You can bring your own pair, but the instructor has to approve it before class.
Cancellations have to be made through the online portal or the app at least 12 hours before class, and the studio will not accept cancellations by email. The waitlist adds you automatically up to 12 hours before class; after that, you have to add yourself if a spot opens. All packages and memberships are final sale and non-transferable. There is no active phone line, so questions go to info@lablagree.com.
Parking, the back door and downtown Burbank
The FAQ gives clear instructions that first-timers often miss: park in the lot directly behind the studio, reached from Angeleno Avenue or First Street, or in the public lot next door at the corner of First and Olive. Then use the back door on Angeleno, not the front door on Olive. The studio also asks clients to follow all posted parking enforcement rules.
Once class is done you are a couple of blocks from the heart of downtown Burbank. The pedestrian stretch of San Fernando Boulevard is lined with cafes, brunch spots and shops, and the Burbank Town Center mall sits just beyond it. If you arrive by train, the Downtown Burbank Metrolink station is roughly a 15-minute walk away, which makes a weekday class workable even without a car.
