Charlestown Waterfront Beer Garden and Deck at The Anchor

The Anchor gives a waterfront drink a little more range at the Charlestown Navy Yard. This beer garden occupies several levels at 1 Shipyard Park, with an upstairs deck for an elevated look across the water. It is a place to take your time over food and drinks while keeping the harbor in sight.

Choosing a seat changes the atmosphere. Quieter pockets gather near a water fountain, while other areas turn their attention to watching a game. There are sunny spots and shaded areas, with enough variety to pick a setting that suits the company rather than treating the whole garden as one scene.

Visual arts and live events are part of the offering here, alongside the beer and wine garden. Dogs are welcome and entry is free. During its seasonal opening period, the venue is open daily from 11 AM to 11 PM, covering both an afternoon outside and an evening by the waterfront.
