🍕 The Dough Takes Its Time

DBL Pie Pizza keeps the Upper West Side slice stop straightforward at 924 Amsterdam Ave. The crust is thin and crispy, built on dough given 72 hours of leavening before the stone bake. Margherita and mushroom with white sauce are among the choices, putting two familiar pizza orders at the center of the meal. The menu also includes a buffalo chicken slice alongside the more classic options.

The kitchen uses unbleached, non bromated flour and butcher quality meats. Sesame hoagie heros give the menu another direction when a sandwich sounds more appealing than a pie. Operating from 2011 onward, the family grown neighborhood fixture has a small, clean space with some indoor seating.

Opening hours run Monday and Tuesday from 11 AM to 10 PM, Wednesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 11 PM, and Sunday from noon to 10 PM.
