The Horseman Files Open at Ten, Poe at Three

A daytime archive of the Horseman legend, an afternoon with Poe in the Hudson Valley library, and a lantern-lit evening at Philipsburg Manor.

Start with the 10am archive

🎯 Three rooms, one legend

Philipsburg Manor opens the Horseman Files at ten in the morning, with the documents and the local telling that built the story. The Hudson Valley library seats an audience with Poe at three. By six the manor grounds are lit for The Spirits of Sleepy Hollow Country, which runs as a walk-through rather than a seated show.

🕯🎯 What the day actually costs

Tickets separate into three purchases. The Horseman Files runs on adult admission with reduced rates for seniors and children, Poe is a single general-admission price, and the evening program sells premium and standard tiers. Book the evening first and the daytime around it, because the manor program is the one that sells out, and a 10am slot leaves room for lunch in Tarrytown before the drive to the library. Everything sits within a fifteen-minute drive on Route 9, and the cemetery's own lantern tours run independently if you want a fourth stop after dark.
