Built in 1927 by Douglas Fairbanks, Mary Pickford, and Louis B. Mayer, this Spanish Colonial Revival landmark has anchored Hollywood Boulevard ever since. It hosted the first Academy Awards, served as a home to Marilyn Monroe, and features a pool with a bottom painted by David Hockney.
