Sunset Tavern

Beyond the bar, a small downstairs room hosts rock, alt-country, punk, and indie bands almost nightly. The space can feel tight during sold-out shows, but the sound stays clear without overwhelming the room. Aside from music, the lineup has included comedy and kung fu movies. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the staff earn frequent praise. There's no food, and vertical IDs aren't accepted.
