Square Cut Pizza With Avellino Family Roots
Grab an old school square slice on 18th Avenue, and keep the catering menus in mind for the next family party.
🍕 Square Slices Since 1966
DaVinci Pizzeria has been a Brooklyn fixture since 1966, and the cooking still runs through the family. Brothers Angelo and Antonio cook from the recipes of their father, Fedele, a self taught pizza chef from Avellino.
The order to know is the old school, square cut pizza, the house style and the slice to try first. Look for the murals on the storefront at 6514 18th Avenue, then head inside to the counter.
Pizza is only part of the story. The kitchen also turns out freshly made specialty items, a natural add when the table wants more than slices, and catering menus cover events when a whole crowd needs feeding.
The shop stays open daily from 10 AM to 9 PM, which covers a midmorning slice, a late lunch, or an early dinner on the way home. Start with a square, add a specialty item, and ask about catering if a party is coming up.
