🍜 Booths Built for Broth

The honeycomb booths are the first thing you notice, wooden pods stacked along the wall above a tiled floor in Long Island City. Climb into one and order a bowl of regional ramen, where the kitchen runs every style through a single house noodle instead of chasing strict local authenticity. The broth comes deep and glossy, layered with a soft-yolk egg, bamboo shoots, sweet corn, nori, and slices of seared steak folded over the strands. Omurice arrives with enough flourish that the staff ask if you want to film it, and negima yakitori rounds out a menu that keeps rotating in new plates. Prefer a front-row view, take a seat at the bar and watch the line cooks work, then head out without the broth clinging to your hair. Weekday bowls run half price from open until five, Monday through Thursday. Doors stay open until 10 PM most nights, later on Friday and Saturday.
