4.8 (2,718)museum
Perched on coastal cliffs, this museum pairs peninsula history with prime views of migrating Pacific gray whales.
Description

Set beside the Point Vicente Lighthouse, the center encompasses nearly 10,000 square feet of space exploring the natural and cultural history of the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Displays place particular focus on the Pacific gray whale, connecting the indoor exhibits to the park grounds outside, where coastal lookouts track the annual migration from December through April.
