PHD is the penthouse on the 12th floor of Dream Downtown, at 355 W 16th St between 8th and 9th Avenue. Inside, the marble-and-ebony room wraps a bar and a fully equipped DJ booth, with the dance floor in front. The terrace sits under a retractable canopy, with the Hudson River and the Empire State Building in direct view.
Above Fridays takes the room over every Friday, 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM, hip-hop and R&B. General admission is a ticket, and the Nov 6 date is $32.00 all-in, including $7.00 in fees. A VIP table is a request, not a booking. Send the form, a host replies with pricing, and the table is not confirmed until they do.
Everyone needs to be 21+ with a valid government-issued photo ID, and the group should arrive together. Dress upscale. No athletic wear, jerseys, loungewear or baseball caps. The A, C, E and L stop at 14 St and 8 Av, six minutes on foot.
