Peanut Butter Noodles Meet Fuzhou Home Cooking in Chinatown
Eat boiled dumplings and crispy taro cakes in a casual room where tips are not required.
🥢 Fuzhou Comfort Cooking
New Arping brings a home cooking approach to Fuzhou food at 45 Division Street in Chinatown. Start with peanut butter noodles or crispy taro cakes, then look to juicy boiled dumplings for another part of the menu. The menu runs through an extensive range of Fujianese dishes, served in large portions in a highly casual room.
The kitchen makes sweet and sour spare ribs fried with taro, alongside tender snow pea shoots. Rice noodle soups get their seasoning from red yeast and red wine. Vegetables play a substantial role across the selection. Meals arrive on disposable plates and in cups, and tips are not required.
Fujianese dishes are generally priced under 10 dollars, leaving scope to order more than a single plate. The restaurant opens Monday through Thursday and Saturday through Sunday from 8 AM to 8 PM, and closes on Friday.
