Overstory Opens at 4 PM Thursday to Sunday, in Time for the November Sunset

A 24-seat bar on the 64th floor of 70 Pine, with a wraparound terrace and a November sunset that only four nights a week can catch.

Be upstairs before the sun drops.

🌇 The Sunset Window

Overstory is a 24-seat bar on the 64th floor of 70 Pine, and its terrace loops the tower for a full 360-degree view. In November the sun is down before five, a few minutes earlier each week. Thursday through Sunday the doors open at 4 PM, early enough to be outside for it; Monday to Wednesday they open at 5, after the light has gone. Private events move the hours, so check Instagram on the day.

Arrive around four, walk the terrace while the sky still has color, then move inside for a cocktail once the towers switch on. The terrace is open air, and wind, weather or a private event can close it, so an outdoor seat is never guaranteed and a booking does not promise a sunset view. The room is 21 and over. Tables are held 15 minutes, cancelling more than six hours after booking costs $25 a person, and walk-ins are first-come, first-served for parties of up to six.
