Sal and Carmine Pizza keeps the old school Broadway slice alive. The room at 2671 Broadway runs narrow, with exposed brick walls and just a few tables, and the menu sticks to what it knows, classic New York style slices and whole pies.
Pizza by the slice is the main event, quick enough for a walk up lunch and easy on the wallet, with prices on the inexpensive side. Grab one of the few seats when it opens, or order a whole pie for a group and split it across the table. Slices are the house favorite here, sold one at a time all day.
Keeping track of the hours is simple. The shop opens at noon every day, closes at 9 PM on Sunday and Monday, and stays open until 10 PM Tuesday through Saturday, plenty of room for a late slice after work or a quick dinner on the walk home along Broadway.
