Description

The nonprofit institution salvages and documents Chinese American heritage through interactive exhibits and public programs. In the permanent exhibition, displays use fluid storytelling to trace history from exclusion acts to wartime service. While the well-organized space presents early 20th-century history clearly, some visitors find that these polished displays feel disconnected from the living community right outside its doors.
