Manhattan Korean Restaurant Inside a Landmark Former Library
Try house made naengmyeon and buckwheat ice cream, or order the 45 dollar weekend Hansang for two or more.
🍜 House Made Naengmyeon
Moono puts modern Korean cooking inside a landmark former library at 29 East 32nd Street. Chef Hoyoung Kim, also the chef and owner of Jua, is behind this upscale restaurant in the three story building. The food leans into deep flavors and careful seasoning, with house made naengmyeon noodles on the menu. Buckwheat ice cream follows with a smooth texture and restrained sweetness.
Dinner runs daily from 5 PM to half past ten PM, with social hour Sunday through Thursday from 5 PM to 7 PM and Saturday and Sunday brunch from noon to half past two PM. Evening ordering is a la carte, giving you room to choose individual plates.
The weekend Hansang costs 45 dollars per person and requires at least two diners, with everyone at the table participating. Oxtail soup and hoe deopbap each add a 5 dollar supplement.
