🥢 Two Traditions, One Menu

Sen Sakana brings Nikkei cuisine to 28 W 44th St in Midtown, joining Japanese and Peruvian culinary traditions in one restaurant. Ceviche, fresh sushi and rolls sit alongside hand cut fries, while craft cocktails have a place at its bar. The setting is elegant.

After the 2020 pandemic closure, the restaurant reopened as a fully certified glatt kosher establishment. Its name refers to the thousand fish said to swim in Peruvian waters, carrying a connection to Peru beyond the menu. Private dining options accommodate intimate gatherings and business meetings, with presentation technology available for those occasions.

Lunch service runs Monday through Thursday from half past eleven AM to 4 PM, with dinner those days from 4 PM to 10 PM and Sunday from 5 PM to 10 PM, plus happy hour Monday through Thursday from 3 PM to 7 PM.
