🍱 Seasonal Omakase Courses

Hakubai serves a refined kaiseki tasting menu in Manhattan from an intimate room in the basement of The Kitano hotel at 66 Park Ave. Seasonal omakase rounds out the offer, with modest courses built on clean, seasonal flavors.

Dinner moves through fresh sashimi, carrot tofu with uni, tender wagyu and citrus hinted crab rice with salmon roe. A counter seat puts raw starters and desserts in view, while hot dishes come from the back kitchen, making a table a comparable option for the meal.

Light desserts such as strawberry shortcake close the evening, and a large alcohol selection offers pairings for the final course. The setting leans classy and upscale, suited to an unhurried Japanese dinner.

Hakubai opens Tuesday through Saturday from half past five PM to 10 PM, and closes on Sunday and Monday.
