Justin Cooper Studio

The space represents Los Angeles–based visual artist Justin Cooper, whose studio practice focuses on the tensions between individual freedom, identity, and ideological systems that shape social behavior. Working across installation, painting, sculpture, and collage, Cooper recontextualizes familiar objects and images to disrupt their expected meanings, exposing the cultural frameworks through which everyday value and identity are constructed.
