🍸 The Drink Comes With a Show

Wonderland Bar turns a cocktail run into a little piece of theater. The East Village room, designed by co owner Miki Niu, pairs fairytale decor with flower draped birdcages. Mixologist Joe Tsou and chef Peter He shape the menu together, with interactive presentations explained by staff and Sichuan bites sitting alongside the drinks.

Start with the Essence of Wonderland or Piña Colada Sour, then add Sichuan pork dumplings and truffle fries. Pearls of scallops add another seafood option. At 96 2nd Avenue, Friday opens at 4 PM, Saturday at 3 PM, and both run until midnight. Wednesday and Thursday also run until midnight, while Tuesday and Sunday close at 10 PM. Monday is closed.

The format suits both small dates and large group gatherings, with the theatrical cocktails leading and the kitchen ready for a second round of Sichuan plates.
