🫧 Vintage Syphons Under Live Pressure

Tucked away at 474 Hemlock St in Brooklyn, this hands-on museum operates inside New York's oldest active seltzer works. Rather than browsing static display cases, visitors step directly onto a working factory floor to explore the city's fizzy heritage through vintage machinery, hands-on science exhibits, and live demonstrations.

Eighty-minute guided tours immerse small groups in the bottling craft, showing how water is pressurized and capped into antique glass syphons. Every ticket includes tasting fresh seltzer and authentic egg creams alongside interactive activities where guests can spritz from classic bottles and learn traditional fountain syrup techniques.

Public tours typically run Fridays at 1 PM, with an additional 2:30 PM slot opened once the earlier tour sells out. Advance reservations are required online, priced at $25 for adults, $15 for ages 5–17, and free for children 4 and under.
