Historic Brooklyn Park With Space For Play And Sport

Cool down, stretch, or let kids roam at this green stretch right beside the Coney Island boardwalk.

Cool off at Asser Levy Park.

🌊 Boardwalk Air And Play

Asser Levy Park covers 21.04 acres at 2955 Sea Breeze Avenue, a historic community park inside the Coney Island complex and steps from the boardwalk. After a morning on the sand, it makes an easy switch to grass and open space.

Spray showers handle the hottest afternoons, and the playgrounds give younger kids their own territory between beach runs. Handball courts cover the competitive side, while the open grounds work for an outdoor workout or a stretch before the trip home. Dog owners get designated dog friendly areas, and public restrooms are on site, a welcome detail on a long shore day with family.

The park is open daily from 6 AM to 1 AM, early enough for a sunrise jog and late enough for an evening walk after dinner in the neighborhood. Pair it with a stroll on the Coney Island boardwalk next door for a full day outside without leaving Brooklyn.
