Marine Park Salt Marsh Nature Trail

Beyond the quiet trail, the surrounding park is a massive space containing basketball courts and softball fields, with plenty of room to ride a bike. The trail itself functions as a straightforward level-one hike, making it highly doable for kids and teenagers. It also serves as one of the city's top birding spots, frequently activated by beginner events from the NYC Parks Department and NYC Bird Alliance.
