Four Bills Under One Roof at the Middle East
A $3 door mix, Julien Baker downstairs, an Adderall XR bill in the bakery room, and HAVE HEART upstairs: four rooms, two nights, one address.
🎸 Four rooms, one address
The Middle East runs four performance rooms off Massachusetts Avenue, and this week each one has its own bill. Thursday opens with the Three Dollar Mix in the Corner/Bakery at five, Julien Baker and Future Teens downstairs at seven. Friday puts Adderall XR in the bakery at five and HAVE HEART upstairs at seven.
🎟🎯 Which ticket covers which room
Each room sells separately, and the door price does not carry between them. The bakery room is the smallest and the cheapest, and the five o'clock starts are designed for a crowd that eats first. Julien Baker downstairs is the one with a printed ticket price and an all-ages policy. Thursday is the night to arrive early, because the bakery bill and the downstairs bill overlap by two hours and the corridor between them fills. Central Square station is a four-minute walk, and the kitchen upstairs stays open through the changeover.
