🍽️ Eat With Your Hands

Bunna Cafe began serving plant based Ethiopian food in 2011, with metal platters built around slow cooked sauces, savory greens, flavorful sambusas, and Beyaynetu. The meal is shared across tangy injera, and the kitchen does not provide utensils, turning dinner into a tactile ritual that rewards a table ready to reach in together. The low lit dining room keeps the mood close, while cocktails and regular events give the address more range than a quick meal.

Traditional coffee ceremonies add another reason to settle in, and the room works for a dinner that wants conversation and participation. Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday run noon to 10 PM, Tuesday runs 5 PM to 10 PM, Friday runs noon to 11 PM, and Saturday and Sunday split noon to 4 PM before dinner, with Saturday ending at 11 PM and Sunday at 10 PM. The popular Beyaynetu platter makes a natural first order for a table sharing everything.
