This cozy Bushwick spot serves vibrant vegan Ethiopian platters meant to be scooped up by hand with tangy injera.
Description

Since 2011, this low-lit dining room has served plant-based Ethiopian dishes where the absence of meat and dairy goes unnoticed. Metal platters come piled with slow-cooked sauces, savory greens, and flavorful sambusas. Because the kitchen does not provide utensils, dinner is an entirely tactile, shared affair. Alongside the food—including their popular Beyaynetu—the space offers cocktails, hosts regular events, and presents traditional coffee ceremonies.
