East Williamsburg Shared Plates: Injera to Mapo Tofu
Ethiopian platters eaten by hand, Lebanese köfte on a patio, Thai curries under a hand-painted mural and vegetarian Chinese boxes make East Williamsburg easy to share.

Since 2011, this low-lit Flushing Avenue dining room has served plant-based Ethiopian food on metal platters with injera, slow-cooked sauces, greens and sambusas. There are no utensils, so dinner is eaten by hand. Cocktails, regular events and traditional coffee ceremonies round it out.
