Little Italy Pizza puts classic New York style pizza on the counter at 154 Church Street in Manhattan. Margherita, buffalo, and white slices come out of the kitchen piping hot, with a thin, super crispy crust that makes the bake all about the crunch.
The kitchen draws on Southern Italian heritage, and chef Salvatore learned the art of pizza making at a young age with his grandmother there to guide him through the process. A peppy crew handles counter service in a shop with a tiny dining footprint. Takeout and delivery are available, along with slices ready to go.
The shop opens every day at 10 AM, then it closes at 11 PM on Monday, at midnight on Tuesday, at 1 AM on Wednesday, at 2 AM on Thursday, at 3 AM on Friday and Saturday, and at 9 PM on Sunday.
