The Fields Studios occupies a former Marshall Field's warehouse at 4120 W Diversey Ave. This 23-acre campus houses nine sound stages with NC-30 acoustics. Silent HVAC systems support film and television production. Large events have used the space, including the Balloon Museum pop-up. Event ticketing is handled externally per production. For an outing with friends, check the specific event's admission arrangements and schedule before planning around an exhibition.

Union Park sits beside the Ashland transit stop on 13.77 acres. Its layout can accommodate concerts on one side and picnics on the other. A fieldhouse with a theater stage provides an indoor setting. A separate building houses a gymnasium and fitness center. Beyond scheduled gatherings, basketball courts and baseball fields give visitors space for outdoor recreation. The park opens daily at 6:00 AM and closes at 11:00 PM.
