Chen Art Gallery (please call to schedule a tour)

Operated by the T.F. Chen Family Foundation to showcase the collection of herbalist and pharmacist Dr. Tei Fu Chen, the gallery organizes its historical holdings into detailed period settings. Docent tours guide visitors through a Qing dynasty imperial throne room and an elegant Ming dynasty bedroom. Surrounding rooms house scholar’s studio treasures, gilt bronze Buddhist statues, jade carvings, and intricate cloisonné, spanning from Neolithic pottery to early 20th-century craft alongside an expanding wing of European works.
