🌶️ Scotch Bonnet Meets Pasta

Markette gives Chelsea dinner a Caribbean accent, with modern European cooking shaped by co chef and owner India Doris. Her London background and experience at Crown Shy and SAGA sit behind a menu that moves from rock shrimp linguine with Scotch bonnet to braised oxtail gratin and tuna crudo with a kick.

Burnt orange banquettes and Murano glass chandeliers give the dining room its character. Take your time over the seasonal menu, with a table booked in advance rather than leaving the evening to chance. Dinner starts nightly at 5 PM, a reason to gather early and settle into the room at 326 7th Ave.

There is another room waiting downstairs. The Argyle is the intimate cocktail lounge beneath the restaurant, ready for the part of the evening after dinner. Keep that last conversation going over drinks before stepping back onto Seventh Avenue.
