Blue Heron Nature Center

Inside the nature center, visitors find interactive exhibits and live displays of turtles, fish, and walking sticks. Outdoors, the surrounding park features a small playground, an open play area for young children, and five trails with views of Butterfly Pond and Spring Pond. The center also serves as a base for Urban Park Ranger programs, which range from educational activities to organized family camp days complete with campfires, s'mores, and guided night hikes.
