Artful Ceviche Takes a Japanese Peruvian Turn
Share artful ceviche, then settle into branzino or a rich shrimp curry with attentive service at hand.
🍋 Ceviche, With a Twist
Artful ceviche leads the table at Mission Ceviche, where fresh Peruvian and Nikkei plates share the spotlight with creative pisco cocktails. Plates arrive with beautiful presentation and land perfectly seasoned, a point reviewers return to often. One ceviche arrives in a golden sauce under crisp chips, beside a foamy blush pink cocktail. From there the menu turns richer, with excellent branzino and a flavorful shrimp curry among the contemporary entrees.
The dining room keeps a stylish look, and friendly, attentive service comes with real menu knowledge, handy when choosing between ceviches or pairing a pisco drink with dinner. The room suits a date night or a group dinner, and private dining is on offer for larger plans.
Doors open at noon Monday through Friday and at 11 AM on Saturday and Sunday at 1400 Second Avenue. Most nights wrap at 10 PM, with Friday and Saturday service running until half past ten PM for a later seating on the Upper East Side.
