Afternoon Tea Beneath Baccarat Chandeliers in Manhattan
Sip with a certified tea sommelier, then explore a dining program led by Gabriel Kreuther.
🫖 A Sommelier Leads Tea
The Grand Salon at Baccarat Hotel New York makes a theatrical entrance at 28 West 53rd Street. Step through the dark entryway at street level, then take the elevator into a bright room dressed in red and gold. Jouffre silk lines the walls, and Baccarat chandeliers hang above the salon.
Afternoon tea has its own specialist here, with a certified tea sommelier overseeing the service. French inspired fare anchors the menu, with culinary director Gabriel Kreuther behind the dining program. His credentials include Michelin stars and a James Beard award. Cocktails and champagne are part of the offering too, extending the drinks selection beyond the tea service. For dessert, try blood orange olive oil cake with labneh sorbet.
The salon opens at half past seven AM and stays open daily until 11 PM, with the same opening window across the entire week.
