Description
Set on a hill near the West 67th Street entrance, this space was originally designed by architect Richard Dattner and opened in 1967. A reconstruction in 2015 updated the playground's infrastructure while preserving Dattner's original design intent. Its structures include a tunnel and slide integrated into a concrete and granite climbing mound.
