A Public Plaza With A Fountain Beside City Hall

Take a break at Dilworth Park, where open lawn space meets a downtown transportation hub.

Pause beside City Hall.

💦 A Downtown Breather

Dilworth Park puts a public square right against the west side of Philadelphia City Hall. At 1 S 15th St in Center City, the space doubles as a transportation hub and a community gathering place. Make it a pause between downtown plans, with the city still moving around you.

An interactive fountain and open lawn share the space. The combination gives you room for an outdoor break while keeping the civic setting close.

The seasonal lineup includes the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink and the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market. Park access is free, while the seasonal attractions require separate admission or purchases. Keep that distinction in mind when choosing between a simple outdoor break and time at the rink.

The park opens daily from 6 AM to 1 AM the following morning. That window covers the public space, rather than a confirmed schedule for each seasonal attraction.
