Free cooking demos run in the Foodwise Classroom tent on the front plaza throughout the morning. A free Veggie Valet bag-check service operates curbside south of the clocktower from 8am to 1pm, so you can drop your haul and keep shopping without lugging bags. Tuesday and Thursday 10am-2pm: Focused Runs
Tuesday brings 20 to 25 vendors to the front plaza only. Thursday typically sees 10 to 15 vendors. Both days skip the side and back zones, concentrating stalls along the Embarcadero sidewalk in front of the Ferry Building. Veggie Valet service is available through the Foodwise Info Booth during Tuesday and Thursday hours. Parking validation drops to five dollars for the first hour at the ProPark lot on market days, making midweek visits cheaper than Saturday if you drive. Motorcycle parking at Pier ½ north of the Ferry Building costs 50 cents per hour from 7am to 7pm and 25 cents per hour from 7pm to 11pm, with 40 spaces available.
