Virtual Reality Arcade in West LA: Los Virtuality From Noon

Los Virtuality at 11901 Santa Monica Blvd, Ste 204 opens at noon every day. A 60-minute session is $44.99 per player, with more than 40 VR games to choose from.

Los Virtuality is a virtual reality arcade at 11901 Santa Monica Blvd, Ste 204, Los Angeles, CA 90025, and a 60-minute session costs $44.99 per player. Unlike the free-roam arenas that charge by the mission, this one is built around stations: you get your own headset corner, a library of more than 40 games, and you can switch titles as often as you like inside your time. It is open from noon every day of the week.

How the station model works

Each guest books a session on one VR station and plays the games from the arcade library. The 60-minute session is $44.99 per player and includes unlimited games on that station. The 120-minute session is $69.99 per player, which works out to about $35 an hour, so the longer block is the better deal if your group already knows what it wants to play. Two people can share a station for an extra $10 each.

That sharing option matters for families. A parent and a child can take turns on one headset while the other watches the screen, which makes the cost closer to a single ticket plus $10 each. Walk-ins are welcome when there is space, but the arcade strongly recommends reservations, especially on weekends, evenings and holidays, because group bookings and escape rooms fill the stations first.

The staff set up the headsets, explain the controls and run a safety briefing before you start. First-timers are steered toward calmer titles, and anyone who feels dizzy is encouraged to take short breaks. Most experiences are recommended for ages 8 and up, and a parent or guardian should accompany minors. Younger players must wear the headset comfortably and follow staff instructions.

Hours and how to get there

Los Virtuality is open Monday through Sunday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, so it works for an after-school visit but not for a late-night one. The arcade sits at 11901 Santa Monica Blvd in West Los Angeles, in suite 204, and parking is free. Its website says it serves Santa Monica, Westwood, Brentwood, Sawtelle, Century City and Culver City.

You can reach the arcade on 424-345-5068. If you are driving from the Westside, Santa Monica Boulevard is one of the main east-west routes, and the free parking saves the usual hunt for a meter.

The games worth booking first

The headline attraction is Hyper Dash, a fast-paced multiplayer VR laser tag shooter for 2 to 10 players with Payload, Domination, Control Point and Deathmatch modes. It is the one to book if you have a big group, because ten people can fight on the same map. Teenagers and office teams respond best to it, since the modes reward coordination as well as aim.

The escape rooms are the second draw. Escape The Lost Pyramid takes place in the world of Assassin's Creed Origins for 2 or 4 players. The VR escape room list also includes Atlantis, Dream Hackers VR and Escape the Worlds, each running about 60 minutes. The all-day pass does not cover the escape rooms.

For action there is Arizona Sunshine 2, a zombie shooter for 1 to 4 players aged 18 and up, and RevolVR 3, a multiplayer shooter for 2 to 6 players aged 12 and up. Both are marked as new on the arcade's game list. My honest recommendation for a first visit is to skip the intense horror titles and spend the first twenty minutes on something playful, then work up.

Deals that actually apply

The weekday All Day Pass is $99.99 for one person and lets you play any game in the arcade from open to close, Monday through Friday only. It cannot be split or shared and cannot be combined with other promotions or the BOGO special. At two sessions of 60 minutes already costing $89.98, the pass pays off only if you plan a long afternoon.

There are three discounts worth knowing. The HAPPYHOUR code takes 15% off from 12 pm to 4 pm, Monday through Thursday, but it does not apply to party packages or all-day passes. Students and military get 15% off any day with a valid ID at checkout. A first session also earns 20% off if you follow the arcade on Instagram and message it the word Promo.

Birthdays and private parties

The private party package gives your group the whole arcade, with 10 VR stations, more than 40 games and room for up to 50 people. It starts at one hour, you can bring your own drinks, and parking is free. Kids' birthdays are a regular booking, and the same setup is used for corporate team building.

If the group is large, ask about splitting time between laser tag and the escape rooms, since a party can rotate between the two modes while some guests wait. The arcade also supplies other entertainment for events, including simulators and photo booths, that it takes to venues around the city.

Around the arcade and a backup plan

The blocks around Santa Monica Boulevard in this part of West LA have plenty of casual food, so plan to eat after your session rather than before it. A heavy meal and a spinning VR scene are a poor mix, and the arcade's own advice is to take breaks if you feel dizzy.

If Los Virtuality is full for the time you want, two other Los Angeles options are Sandbox VR in Culver City, which tracks your whole body in team missions, and Player One VR World in Santa Monica, which runs private free-roam rooms. Both are different from a station arcade, so choose by the type of play your group wants.

Practical notes

Bring a charged phone for the booking confirmation, tie back long hair, and wear comfortable shoes. The staff will handle the headset. Book at least a day ahead for weekends, check that every player meets the age rating of the game you want, and save the address and start time in Karpo APP so the whole group can find the suite together.
